Size: The Pliosaurus macromerus is most probably the Largest of all the Pliosaurus species with its exact size being surrounded by controversy and estmates anywhere between 15 to 20+ meters in length that is mostly due to the infamous Monster of Aramberri which is a 13 meter plus specimen which was claimed to be a young individual (a claim which now being questioned) but that definetly has evidence of an attack by an individual which seems to be much larger. Also the existence of a jaw which seems to be at least 3.0 m (9.8 feet) support that this is the largest pliosaur ever discovered.
Bite Force: Pliosaur bite force in general is extremely high and with P.macromerus being the largest species it most likely had a bite force upwards of 45000 pounds!
